Concept artness. ^_^

I see.. Alucin thought, his pale eyes cautiously examining the room. The walls seemed to breathe as he ran his hand against them. He winced as his hand was suddenly scraped. Pulling his hand away, the wall drew back, its moldy bricks crumbling, shedding ash to the cracked floor. He stared as a streak of his own blood seemed to be swallowed by the brick.

He reached his hand up again, but nothing happened. His Inquisitor traits took over automatically, healing the small wound on his palm.

Alucin closed his eyes as he stretched out his fingertips against the rough surface.

“I am your prince,” he whispered to the empty room. “And I will be your sacrifice if that is what will bring back our memories.”

Obliging, the wall breathed again, finishing its draw of breath with a growl.

“The fallen, Living Citadel: how you must hunger. The royal line, my bloodline, sacrificed innocents to guarantee you were fed. And now, I pay their penance. The only prince to bear the tainted flesh of an Inquisitor, the blood-letting demons born to shed crimson to stay alive.. the road only takes me here. I must be your destined sacrifice. The only one who will survive long enough to satisfy your feeding.”

He closed his eyes, willing the room to take him, to devour him, knowing that the chances of seeing daylight after this night would be slim.

Medium: Photoshop
Character: Alucin of The Silhouette Project [link] , the prince of Ayeera, the Blood Capital. :D His demon species is 'Inquisitor,' one that remains stronger as blood is shed. They can control their blood's manfestation and forge it into weapons at will. Fortunately, Inquisitors are afraid of pain, and use this ability as a last resort. A masochist Inquisitor would be unstoppable!

Hell's Catharsis is 80% ready to open. :D Just need to clean a bunch of stuff up and set the blog up. Thanks for your patience!

The blood looks excelent, I think I've never seen blood like that, O___O it looks like alive, moving by itself, outstanding work really. His glowy eye looks wicked, and wow, I wish I could draw hair like that.
:iconaelice:
Thanks so much! XD It was half a lesson in movement for a friend of mine. >_>; I didn't even notice until I doodled over it.
